ASHA - McCormick Place Chicago
Just back from a 20x50 install at the American Speech-Hearing Language Expo in Chicago, and you know, I don't think Chicago gets a fair shake.
About 6-7 years ago it was a real challenge doing an event in Chicago. There was a different union for almost every little piece of the show floor, but in the last few years that's really changed. I was impressed with the growing customer-focused culture developing in each of the crews I had the pleasure of working with at McCormick Place. From the riggers hanging the 14' diameter tension fabric sign, to the electricians wiring the floor and hanging our AV systems, to the crew assembling the structure - all had a great attitude and brought good ideas and experience to the floor to get it done right.
The booth was a huge success with feedback from our customer including the word "Spectacular". I'll call that a exceeding expectations! Off to Orlando for the 16'x50' version of this same exhibit. Let's see if Orlando holds their own as I've had great experiences there and a great crew waiting to lend a hand.
